A Lutheran pastor for 54 years, Werner (PsyD, STM, MDiv) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Colorado. Having graduated in 1982 from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver, he is currently both Agency Director and Clinical Director of Pastoral Counseling for Denver.
His active clinical practice includes work with individuals, couples, and families with a focus on those who have survived major trauma. He has special training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Guided Imagery, and Psychological Testing. Werner has been married to his high school sweetheart, Suzanne, for almost 57 years; they have three intelligent and beautiful daughters, six granddaughters, and three grandsons.
